Portable Gas Generator Question...? - gas ice machine
Well, my husband and I live in Oklahoma, where he remained confident that time will be terrible. So I think to get a portable gas generator for our house. When I go online to see there are all sorts of things. What I propose to make a living (4000 watts, 1500 watts, etc.)? None of you has a used one for sale or know a place online to find cheap new? I also heard the "retreat" generator ... what happens if a trip of a generator? I know it is caused by too many watts, but what is with the machine and must be restarted? Believe me, I have a find if you do not live in this magnet Hellhole bad weather, but we do ... and I must learn as much as possible in this area. Tell me what you know, maintenance costs, options or other portable power when ice storms hit badly. I am open to all ideas. Please do not hate. Education only for myself and do research. Thx!

First, most are rated by Watts. Used a 1000-watt dryer, about 10 amperes. If you bought a 6000-watt generator that only 50% of energy from your home, on average. Know, in fact, sit down and see what they think about during a power outage and notify me via e-mail and I can better advise you.
